![]() I could see this being only slightly useful in the event you are buying a pre-made OEM PC with a Termaltake case. I never understood why Thermaltake has done this with both of their cases that I've owned (The V51 had this problem as well): There is a metal "L-shaped" bracket that is not removable (it's fused with the motherboard tray) that is designed to "press down" on the top of your PSU, I guess as added downward mounting pressure. With the V71, I had to take a dremel cutting tool and cut some of the useless metal "ladder work" to the right of the covered up grommets to make my own cable pass-throughs to the back. ![]() The right edge of the board completely covers them. E-ATX boards are too wide by about 1", so you totally lose functionality of the 2 x rubber grommet cable pass-throughs to the right (where you would normally pass your 24 x pin mobo power cable and your HD sata cables through to the backside of the case). While it's true the mobo will technically fit onto the preinstalled mounts, in both cases it leaves a lot to be desired. But these fans helped out a lot.-Like the V51, Thermaltake is taking WIDE leeway with saying these cases will accept E-ATX mobos. Problem with these fans are they are thicker than conventional pc fans at 38mm so u need to buy longer screws like fan screws M3 x 45mm work nicely and they aren't super high amp so u can use regular fan hub and they are pwm 4pin which is nice. I believe they are originally for mining units. These are the best fans I have ever bought. But my hotpots and memory still get up to almost 90c max.? I cant figure it out? I run the Asus fan tuner and it helps with the fan noise a lot I can hardly even hear the 12038's after the tune. I get 28c - 56c on my cpu and on my gpu it gets up to almost 60c on the core max. ![]() My fronts and my rears are pushing air in and my three sides and my one rear is pulling air out. I bough t six Wathai 12038 6000rpm fans to draw air in and I got four 140mm Thermaltake's drawing air out. ![]() I have three d5 pumps and two 360mm 65mm thick rads. ![]() I got all ek blocks all the way and they are on a 11700k and 2080ti. I can't seem to get great temps on water at all. ![]()
